When you boot off the CD, you will need to enter the Recovery Console by pressing R the first time you are prompted for an R. Then select your Windows XP installation probably 1 , then enter your password for the Administrator account which is probably blank, so just press the Enter key.

I can't even log onto Windows. I press the power button on the computer, the BIOS or whatever the first that loads is called loads up and then I get the black that has that message. I am not able to log on or navigate to the command prompt.
